Terms of Sale

What you get

• Access to the authenticated WolfXL package index. Purchases grant access to install supported WolfXL commercial builds with a personal, read-only credential for the tier you selected.
• Monthly or annual commercial plans. One Seat, Five Seats, and Organization standard Orders are billed through Stripe at the monthly or annual interval selected at checkout. OEM, embedded resale, redistribution, and multi-entity rights require a written Order.
• Proprietary license. Supported commercial versions are licensed under the WolfXL Software License Order Terms for One Seat and Five Seats, or the WolfXL Organization License Order Terms for Organization. Releases through 2.0.0 remain governed by the licenses supplied with those releases.

How access is delivered

• Self-service checkout requires affirmative acceptance of the current license agreement before payment.
• Sales-assisted plans require a written Order covering the agreed seats, deployment, and distribution scope.
• A private package-index credential is issued on the checkout success page after Stripe confirms payment, and can be reissued through the recovery page. Sales-assisted Orders receive credentials after the written Order is accepted.
• On One Seat and Five Seats, each person who directly installs, imports, configures, develops against, tests, or executes WolfXL needs a seat, regardless of job title. Output viewers and automated systems do not consume separate seats. Organization has no seat limit within the one legal entity named at checkout.

Hosted services, SaaS, and the proposed policy

• Current accepted terms. Online One Seat, Five Seats, and Organization Orders cover internal business use and compiled client deliverables. They do not permit providing WolfXL as a standalone hosted API or service whose primary purpose is to expose WolfXL functionality. Reusable SDK resale and redistribution beyond the compiled client deliverables expressly permitted by the accepted agreement require a written Order.
• Draft standard hosted-use policy. A policy permitting ordinary application SaaS on standard plans is drafted and pending approval. It is not part of any accepted agreement and grants no rights today.
• Draft continuing-use terms. A proposal under which monthly and annual plans alike retain perpetual internal use of lawfully obtained versions after ordinary expiry, while downloads, updates, support, and new distributions end, is likewise a draft. The subscription-expiration terms below remain the effective ones.
• Wolf Suite. Wolf Suite early access has no accepted agreement and no qualified release, so it is not for sale. The agreement identifiers referenced on this site apply to WolfXL only.

Before you buy

• Review the compatibility matrix and the limitations to confirm your workflow is on the supported surface. WolfXL is openpyxl-compatible for supported workflows, not a drop-in for every workbook.
• For procurement, invoice, multi-entity, or custom license questions, start a commercial inquiry before purchasing.

Renewal and term length

Each subscription renews at the end of its billing interval for another period of the same length, one month or 12 months as selected at checkout, at the price disclosed before renewal, until canceled. Cancel before the renewal date through any available Stripe billing portal or by sending written notice to wolfgang@synthgl.com. A timely written notice counts even if Provider processes it later. Cancellation stops future renewal and does not shorten the current paid term.

After expiration, package-index access, updates, support, and the right to make new distributions containing WolfXL end. You may continue internal use of versions obtained during the paid term, subject to the purchased seat count and other license limits. Existing end users may continue using products lawfully distributed before expiration.

Payment processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. WolfXL does not receive or store your full card number. Stripe's terms govern the payment transaction itself.
