License

WolfXL supported commercial versions are proprietary. Early pre-launch PyPI builds through 2.0.0 were distributed under the MIT License but are yanked, unsupported, and receive no fixes. The authoritative text is the WolfXL LICENSE file, which is currently a draft pending final commercial terms.

Current version (2.1.0+)

  • Proprietary. WolfXL 2.1.0 and later are the proprietary property of the copyright holder and are licensed, not sold.
  • Private distribution. Supported commercial builds are distributed to licensed customers from the Cloudsmith private package index at https://dl.cloudsmith.io/<customer-token>/synthgl/wolfxl/python/simple/.
  • Draft terms. Grant scope, seat terms, support scope, and limitation of liability are pending in the draft LICENSE. Contact us for the terms that apply to your organization before purchasing.

Earlier PyPI builds (through 2.0.0)

Early pre-launch builds through 2.0.0 were distributed under the MIT License before commercial launch. Those releases are yanked, unsupported, and receive no fixes or updates.

Third-party components

WolfXL incorporates third-party components under their own licenses. See THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md, which is retained with distributed packages.

No telemetry or DRM

The commercial library does not include telemetry, phone-home license activation, or runtime usage tracking. Access is regulated by a private index token, not by code inside your runtime.

This page is operational copy for the WolfXL commercial site, not legal advice. The authoritative license text is the WolfXL LICENSE file.
