Procurement packet

WolfXL vendor information

A concise review packet for engineering, security, legal, and procurement teams evaluating WolfXL for a defined workbook workflow.

Product and deployment

  • WolfXL is a Python package with a Rust-backed workbook engine.
  • Customer workbook processing runs in the customer's own Python environment.
  • Commercial packages are installed from an authenticated Python package index.
  • Each buyer receives a revocable, read-only package-index credential.
  • Supported platforms, workbook formats, and operations are bounded by the published compatibility matrix.

Data and network behavior

  • The WolfXL runtime does not upload workbooks or workbook contents.
  • The library has no usage telemetry, activation call, heartbeat, or advertising tracker.
  • Network access is required when the package manager installs WolfXL from the authenticated index.
  • Stripe processes self-service payments. WolfXL does not receive or store full payment-card numbers.
  • Purchase records retain the customer identity, intended use, server-derived seat count, checkout identifiers, agreement and authority evidence, fulfillment status, and acquisition attribution described in the privacy policy.

Licensing and commercial scope

  • WolfXL 2.1.0 and later commercial releases are proprietary.
  • One Seat and Five Seats use the published WolfXL Order Terms and Common Paper Standard Terms.
  • Those online plans permit internal use and the limited inseparable compiled client deliverables stated in the Order Terms.
  • Business, Enterprise, OEM, broader deployment, standalone or source redistribution, general-purpose reusable distribution, and hosted services whose primary purpose is to expose WolfXL require a written Order.

Review the license summary, commercial terms, and privacy policy.

Support and continuity

  • Self-service plans include the support level stated on the pricing page.
  • Priority onboarding, response expectations, and procurement support are defined in a Business or Enterprise Order.
  • WolfXL is currently founder-maintained. Any additional continuity or source-access requirement must be negotiated in writing.
  • Credentials can be revoked without adding enforcement code to the customer's runtime.

Evidence available for review

WolfXL publishes a supported-workflow compatibility matrix, known limitations, benchmark methodology, release notes, and package-preservation evidence. A production pilot can add evidence for one customer-defined workflow without sending workbook data to WolfXL.
