Python Office SDK pricing
A Python SDK for Excel, PowerPoint, and Word with flat organization-wide pricing
WolfXL (Excel), WolfPPT (PowerPoint), and WolfDocx (Word) are Python libraries priced per legal organization, not per developer seat. WolfXL Organization is $1,999 a year for any number of people in one legal organization; WolfPPT Commercial and WolfDocx Commercial are $500 a year each for one legal organization. All three together cost $2,999 a year, bought as three self-serve subscriptions with no sales call. All three also have free MIT-licensed Community editions on PyPI.

Each subscription is separate and grants access to its own private package index. There is no combined bundle SKU, so buy only the formats you automate. WolfXL is also sold in seat plans for small teams; see pricing.
What flat pricing means here
- One price per legal organization. Adding developers inside that organization does not change it.
- AI agents, CI jobs, and other automated systems you run for your organization do not need their own seats.
- No telemetry, no phone-home license activation, and no runtime usage tracking.
- The accepted WolfXL Order Terms govern current purchases, including internal use, hosted apps that return only outputs to your users, and permitted compiled client deliverables. Standalone hosted document engines and reusable SDK resale require a written Order.
- OEM, embedded resale, and multi-entity rights need a written Order.
What each library does
- WolfXL keeps the openpyxl API, edits existing workbooks in place, and calculates formulas without Excel.
- WolfPPT keeps the python-pptx API; Commercial adds rendering to PDF and images, deck assembly, and .ppt and .odp files.
- WolfDocx edits existing Word documents: tables, text, templates, mail merge, document merging, and tables of contents.
