Error checking and globalization (WolfXL Pro)

Worksheet.error_check_options is an ordered ErrorCheckOptionCollection. add("A1:A20 C1:C20", [ErrorCheckType.NUMBER_STORED_AS_TEXT]) returns an editable ErrorCheckOption. Edit ranges or ignored_types, call set_ignored(type, bool), replace an entry, remove it or clear the collection. The nine independent OOXML checks are evaluation error, empty cell reference, number stored as text, inconsistent range, inconsistent formula, two-digit text year, unlocked formula, table/list validation and calculated column. They map to ECMA-376 CT_IgnoredError attributes and save as worksheet ignoredErrors. Read and modify modes hydrate existing options and preserve collection extensions. Read-only and closed workbooks reject option mutations.

Workbook.globalization_settings accepts AbstractGlobalizationSettings. GlobalizationSettings reproduces the invariant defaults. A SettableGlobalizationSettings(list_separator=";", decimal_separator=",") can set boolean/error names and total/grand-total labels with set_boolean_name, set_error_value_name, set_total_name, and set_grand_total_name. Subtotal labels are consumed by insert_subtotals. Subtotal function IDs are Excel's 1–11 and 101–111 codes.

Workbook.format_formula(text) formats invariant formula text for display. Workbook.parse_typed_input(text) converts localized booleans, error literals, numbers and formulas; an initial apostrophe explicitly requests literal text. Worksheet.set_typed_input("A1", text) writes that parsed value. Quoted text, quoted sheet names, external/structured references and array separators are preserved. Supported list separators are comma and semicolon. This is a text boundary, not automatic rewriting of Cell.value: saved formulas and evaluation always use invariant Excel literals and separators. With default settings, formula output and saved worksheet/workbook XML remain byte-identical.

Assign an object implementing ICustomParser.parse(text) to Workbook.custom_parser to convert text values during commercial tabular imports (including import_records, pandas and other adapters using the shared tabular writer). Non-text inputs and headers bypass the hook. Return NotImplemented to keep normal import behavior. Hook exceptions propagate. Settings and parser objects are runtime-only and are not serialized.

Workbook.country_code (CountryCode) and Workbook.default_edit_language (DefaultEditLanguage.AUTO, ENGLISH, CJK) read/write typed custom document properties named WolfXL.CountryCode and WolfXL.DefaultEditLanguage in docProps/custom.xml. Defaults are zero when absent. OOXML has no standardized workbookPr/fileVersion/app.xml fields for these Excel BIFF-style settings; custom properties preserve them without adding invalid attributes. These properties are not assertions that Microsoft Excel changes its application-wide locale.

Commercial classes are exported from wolfxl_pro; the MIT API routes requests through its existing extension boundary and does not import commercial modules.
